AB1559 AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES ASSOCIATED WITH AUTOIMMUNE HEPATITIS

Background Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a rare pathology characterized by necrotic-inflammatory hepatocyte lesions, the presence of autoantibodies, and high sensitivity to corticosteroid treatment. it often associated with other autoimmune diseases. Objectives Our objective was study clinical aspects, auto-immune diseases, response treatment AIH. Methods We conducted retrospective including consecutive patients AIH between January 2000 December 2018. Results included twenty-two patients; 21 women one man an average age 46 [18-95]. Jaundice most frequent presenting sign (80%). Biology found cytolysis greater than ten times in 45.5% cases. A predominant hypergammaglobulinemia on IgG noted 77.2% At time diagnosis, 59% were stage cirrhosis. Antinuclear antibodies, Anti-smooth muscle Anti-LKM1 antibodies positive 47.6%, 41%, 13.3% cases, respectively. The liver biopsy performed 8 (36.3%) compatible histological appearance 7 patients. In 54.5% noted; common thyroiditis (33.3%) hemolytic anemia (33.3%). There also two cases Sjögren’s syndrome, case systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis. An overlap syndrome (AIH-PBC) 22.7% combined corticosteroid-azathioprine prescribed 15 (68.1%). syndromes, ursodeoxycholic acid has been associated. mean duration follow-up 94.5 months.
